Harwinton's Town Historian

Roger Plaskett is the town's third Official Historian. Roger was appointed on June 20th, 2006 after the passing of Lloyd Shanley, who served in this capacity for many years. Lloyd was preceded by Raymond Bentley who also served as Historian for many years.

This web site is created and maintained by Roger Plaskett and is proudly dedicated to the memory of Raymond Bentley and Lloyd T. Shanley Jr., who have paved the road to the past, by working so hard to preserve that road for the future.
