I attended three schools in Harwinton:
Center School, Locust Road School and Four Corners School.
When I attended Locust Road School, I was picked to play
an end man in a minstrel show. What a great time we had.
We played to a full house at the old Town Hall.
When I attended Center School, I always looked forward
to the Harwinton Fair. We made paintings and hobbies that
we could enter. I always remember the teams of oxen walking
past Center School and how excited we got watching them.
The best part was getting out of school early to bring
up our entries to the fair.
