I went to three different schools
during my grammar school years. They closed Four Corners.
I went to Clearview School with an hour bus ride before
& after. Never do I remember school being called off
because of snow.
I remember going with other into Fenn’s pasture
to pick loads of laurel blossoms to decorate the stage
at Congregational Church for graduation. It always looked
beautiful.
I remember Mr. Mills showing up always unexpectedly. He
was always smiling and very courteous. His handicap did
not seem to slow him down at all. I think its very fitting
to have a school named after him. I only remember him
coming to Four Corners not the other two schools.
